Hiya. I am happy to inform you all that Flippy Day has NOT been selected for Sundance OR Slamdance Film Festivals! Booo Hooo!
HOWEVER it will screen at Filmapalooza April 10-12 in Las Vegas at the NAB show. So that's something.
Big Appetite's newest short film Glamulus at the End of the World has been entered into the 48 Hour International Shootout. Filmed partly in the Durham Elementary School, Glamulus tells the story of a once-famous sweater model and his faithful assistant as they search for remnants of human life. Featuring many of the same cast and crew of Flippy Day, this short film redefines the meaning of "the end of the world." I've been informed that by February 1, 2010 we will know if it makes the cut for the top three. It may screen at Filmapalooza, or even Cannes! Thanks for your interest and support!
